Twyla Tharp will take 12 dancers on the road to celebrate the 50th anniversary of her choreographic debut according to The New York Times. The tour will open in Dallas on September 18 and will include performances in 15 cities total including Beverly Hills, Chicago, Denver, and Washington, wrapping up at Lincoln Center on November 22. I look forward to this production of her work and will be interesting to see the dancers she selects.
