Anne Haskins of LA Weekly has a great summary of the many Los Angeles Nutcrackers on tap this season. Former ABT Principal Dancers Irina Dvorovenko and Maxim Beloserkovsky will guest as the Sugerplum Fairy and her Cavalier in the Festival Ballet Theatre Nutcracker in the second week of performances from December 17-21 in Irvine, California. ABT Principal Dancer Isabella Boylston and former ABT Soloist Sascha Radetsky lead the final shows from December 21-24. Carla Korbes from Pacific Northwest Ballet and Fabrice Calmels from the Joffrey Ballet perform the leads the first week, December 12-14.
ABT Soloists Devon Teuscher and Alexandre Hammoudi are guest stars in the Boca Ballet Theatre Nutcracker tonight and tomorrow at the Olympic Heights Performing Arts Theater, in Boca Raton, Florida.
