Sad day as Paloma Herrera gave her final ABT performance this afternoon with Roberto Bolle in Giselle. I remember her many great performances, in particular her breakthrough in Theme and Variations in 1995 with Robert Hill and the Don Quixote pas de deux with Angel Corella at City Center, taped for the DVD ABT Now. Sascha Radetsky sums it up nicely in the above tweet with a photo with her in Clear.

Also sad that Xiomara Reyes will retire from ABT tonight in Giselle. I always enjoyed Xiomara’s energy, combined with great musicality, technique, and athleticism. She will be sorely missed.
