According to the Stamford Advocate Julie Kent, Jared Matthews, Veronika Part, and Alexandre Hammoudi will dance lead roles in the Connecticut Ballet Nutcracker for the company’s 29th presentation of the holiday classic. Veronika and Alexandre made Connecticut Ballet debuts last year.
The Stamford show will run at the Palace Theatre December 14 and 15 and 21 and 22, and features the 28-member professional dance company, which is under the artistic direction of Brett Raphael. More than 100 area children also will perform in various roles. Meet-and-greet receptions will follow the shows, all of which begin at 2 p.m.
