ABT announced promotions today. Isabella Boylston was promoted to Principal Dancer and Joseph Gorak, Christine Shevchenko, Devon Teuscher and Roman Zhurbin have been promoted to Soloists according to the ABT website. All have been with the company for a while and originally joined the ABT Studio Company.
Isabella joined the ABT studio company in 2005 and was named to the Corps in 2007. Joseph joined the ABT Studio Company in 2006, ABT as an apprentice in 2009 and the Corps in 2010. Christine joined the ABT Studio Company in 2006, ABT as an apprentice in 2007 and the Corps in 2008. Devon joined the ABT Studio Company in 2006, ABT as an apprentice in 2007 and the Corps in 2008. Roman attended ABT’s Summer Intensive in 2003 and joined the ABT Studio Company the same year. He joined ABT as an apprentice in 2004 and became a member of the Corps in 2005.
